Tropical Flowers – Captivation Unbounded

Tropical flowers are bred in temperate regions of the world. The
plants need balmy and humid weather conditions so that the flowers can
develop into its full glory. Whatever may be the occasion, let it be

is considered the ideal present. The breathtaking splendor of the
tropics with its azure sky, magnificent coastal lines and the wild
beauty of the tropical flowers, will captivate and astound you.
It is always better to prevent the disease of tropical flowers. The
important things to be followed for disease prevention are:
- Selection of sturdy tropical plant species.
- If you are interested on a delicate species, conduct enough
study on the diseases that can be occurred and the disease
preventive methods for that particular species
- Removal of dead leaf and withered plant materials from the plant
and surroundings.
- It is better to place small potted plants over stones or bricks
in order to avoid direct contact with ground soil.
- Never place the plants too close. Give enough aeration.
- It is important to disinfect pots before planting a tropical
plant.
Propagation of tropical flower is easy. Sexual propagation
involves spores or seeds. When two different plant spores are
united, the result will be an entirely different plant variety which
is quite exciting. This is how hybrid plants are made.
Tropical flowers need some stimulation for developing. The
natural stimuli are passing through the intestine of animals and
seasonal changes. In some areas where there is forest fire, the soil
will be rich in nutrients and this triggers the proper development
of seed.
The propagation methods of tropical flowers are, cutting, bud
grafting, using runners or stolons, air layering, grafting, and
micro propagation.
Let us discuss some of these tropical flowers.
